A 1-10 guide to Myntra sale

The online shopping portal Myntra joined the biggest sale of the year - Big Billion Days – on the midnight of 1st October, putting up more than 2.5 lakh styles and designs on sale. If the huge display of stuff is making you confused about what to buy, you may just go by the ten-step guide created by Sanhita Dasgupta, Fashion Stylist at Myntra, so that you don’t miss the top picks for the festive season this year.

Women’s styles

The Straight Kurta: Dasgupta says this classic never goes out of style. It’s available in colour block, quirky prints and solids. Pair it with palazzos for a contemporary look.

Cropped Palazzos: Palazzos are everywhere, but the latest is the cropped palazzo, which when teamed with a cropped top, will surely make you the cynosure of eyes.

Handloom Sarees: Handloom saris are making a big comeback, but this time round, they come with stunning embroidery.

Embellished Flats: Flats go with ethnic wear, and the embellished variety is simply irresistible!
Ethnic Jewellery: After you have made a selection of the clothes, don’t forget to accessorise with some traditional jewellery. There are chandbalis, jhumkas, bangles and necklaces to choose from.

Men’s styles

Long Kurta: Like the straight kurta for women, the long kurta for men also is a fashion classic.

Sherwani: Sherwanis make for the perfect festive year, with their regal look and lux feel.
Short Kurta: After the long kurta, comes the short kurta. You can pair it with jeans to be both comfortable and dressed up.

Clubmasters: This retro look is a must for your closet this season.

Nehru Jackets: Nehru jackets have been in vogue since the days when our first Prime Minister made it a fashion statement.
